After passing his oral examination for the doctorate with
the grade summa cum laude (conferred by unanimous
decision), Dr Colmenar-Santos was awarded the degree of
Philosophiæ doctor from the National University of
Distance Education (UNED, Madrid) on February 2, 1999. His

Dr Colmenar-Santos has registered seven patents and utility
models regarding the invention of Ed-tech and electricity
