SISO-QFTIT is a software tool for robust control design using the QFT methodology.
This tool has been developed in SYSQUAKE by
Jose Manuel Diaz, Sebastian Dormido and Joaquin Aranda
of the Department of Computer Science and Automatica (UNED, Spain)
The main advantages of SISO-QFTIT compared to other existing tools are its ease of use and its interactive nature. All that the end-user has to do is to place the mouse pointer over the different items which the tool displays on the screen. Any action carried out on the screen are immediately reflected on all the graphs generated and displayed by the tool. This allows the user to visually perceive the effects of his or her actions during the design of the controller.
SISO-QFTIT has been designed bearing in mind the needs of a beginner who wants to learn the QFT methodology as well as the needs of an advanced user.
The tool is freely available in the form of an executable file (qftit-siso.exe) for Windows or Mac based platforms. There is a manual (qftit_manual.pdf) where the tool are described in detail. This manual also includes some examples of robust control design using QFT solved with SISO-QFTIT.
